(0 The Fool) Key Card to the entire Tarot. It is the archetype of archetypes It is the archetype of the child and of God It is the True Universal Self
There is a warning that must be given about becoming involved with the Tarot. If you are not 100% sure of who you are the Tarot will help you figure that out one way or another. With that being stated you may fall into the trap of another person’s mind. The saying “Know Thyself” is of the up most importance when becoming involved with the Tarot. What is meant by this is specifically within consciousness, one must be aware of who they are. They must be aware of their own voice. They must be aware that they are not Thought. They must have attained “Silence”. For if they have not they are still split. Many are unaware that their ego’s are actually not who they are. For a person to have an internal dialogue happening is a great way of understanding if a person is not ready for the Tarot. With that being stated almost everyone who does become involved with the Tarot does have an internal dialogue.
Many people struggle to accept that the concept of identity is fictitious. To express this another way, many look to the Tarot to find out who they are only to get lost among the numbers. The Tarot is often seen as a way to ask questions. What needs to be understood clearly is who are you asking the question to? A True Tarot reader will guide a person to what the questioner already knows. To awaken the intuition within the person who is asking the questions. Many Tarot readers have fallen prey to malevolent forces and use the Tarot in a way for selfish gain. If the Tarot reader themselves is not aware of who their True Selves are, most likely the reader and the person asking the questions will be lead astray. This happens more often then not, after all people have to become truly lost to find themselves. The same way that a hammer can be used to build a house but also be used to kill some one, the Tarot is of the same nature. It can be used as a tool to truly help people and guide them, but it can also be used to illusion people.
A great way to tell if a Tarot reader has any true understanding of the cards is to ask what the Tarot reader understands about the “13 Death” card to be. If their answer is not “Change” then they are most likely not ready to be reading Tarot for others and are actually causing more confusion then clarity but again, even this is needed in the Universe. A true Tarot reader does not see any card as negative or positive. Every card is used to guide a person towards “Love and the Truth” and awaken their intuition. The Major Arcana is made up from 22 cards that are numbered 0-21. As how an alphabet is made up from many letters, the tarot is made up of many cards. As every word is made up of individual letters, every reading is made up of individual cards. Letters form a word, cards form the answer. Therefor like any word the letters are used in relation to each other, therefor the cards are used in relation with one another.
